Tomato Harissa Prawns

Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 5 minutes
Serves: 2-3 (Starter)

Ingredients

16 Tiger prawns

1 Garlic cloves

2 tbsp of olive oil

1 tsp of Al’Fez Harissa

2 tsp of tomato puree

1 Lemon

Salt and pepper

Coriander for garnish

 

Method

Peel prawns and finely chop the garlic. Heat oil in frying pan, once the pan is hot add the prawns and fry for 3-4 minutes, turning regularly. Drain excess fat and water. Add the garlic and continue to fry for a further 3 minutes then add the Harissa, Tomato mix, season and stir continually for 1 minute. Remove from the heat, place in a bowl and squeeze the juice from the whole lemon over the prawns and garnish with coriander.

 

Serving Suggestion: With a salad and warm buttered French bread.
