Moroccan Fruity Chicken Tagine
6 chicken pieces
4tsp Al’Fez Fruity Tagine Paste
1 can of chopped tomatoes
250ml chicken stock
1/2 butternut squash in large chunks
4 carrots cut into chunks
Handful of raisins
1/2 can chickpeas
1. Combine Al’Fez Fruity Tagine Paste, chopped tomatoes and stock.
2. Arrange the chicken pieces and vegetables in large casserole dish then pour the fruity sauce over the chicken pieces.
3. Add the chickpeas and raisins and bake at 180˚C/Gas mark 4 for 1-1/2 hours until chicken is tender and cooked through.
4. Serve with Al’Fez Couscous and garnish with slivered almonds and coriander
