Roasted Baharat Chicken

Roasted Baharat Chicken


4 chicken pieces

4 tsp olive oil

2 tbsp  Al'Fez Baharat

Al'Fez Preserved Lemon

1 garlic clove

3 carrots

4 Maris Piper potatoes

2 red onions


1. Preheat the oven to 180˚C/Gas mark 4. Create a spice rub by taking a large bowl and combining chopped Al’Fez Preserved Lemons, crushed garlic cloves, olive oil and Al’Fez Baharat. 


2. Chop the carrots and potatoes into large pieces, quarter the onions. Add the chopped vegetables and chicken pieces to the large bowl and cover well with the spice rub. 


3. Arrange the chicken and vegetables on a baking dish. Roast for 1 hour - 1½ hours or until cooked.
