Falafel with Tomato Salsa
Ingredients
- 1 box of Al'Fez Lebanese Style Falafel Mix
- 170ml of Water
- For the Tomato Salsa:
- 2 large Tomatoes, diced into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1/2 Red Onion, finely diced
- 2 Green Chillies, finely diced
- Salt, Pepper, Fresh Parsley & Spring Onions to Garnish
- For the Tahini Sauce:
- 2 Tbsp of Al'Fez Natural Tahini
- 2 Tbsp of Water
- 1 Tbsp of Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp of Garlic Powder
- Salt, Pepper, Fresh Parsley
Method
- Prepare the Falafel according to on-pack instructions, using the water and the Falafel Mix
- Shape into small balls and fry them in very hot oil for 2-3 minutes
- For the Tomato Salsa, combine all of the ingredients and season to taste and garnish with parsley or spring onions
- For the Tahini Sauce, mix all the ingredients together well and serve on top of the Falafel or on the side for dipping.
